THE FOX 25 DRY BLASTING CLEANING CABINET IS VERY ADVANCED IN ITS DESIGN AND HAS A NUMBER OF EXCELLENT FEATURES, INCLUDING INTEGRAL HIGH PERFORMANCE DUST EXTRACTION AND FOOT PEDAL CONTROL.

Vixen Surface Treatments has developed this manual blast cabinet to have excellent visibility, and has achieved this through incorporation of fluorescent lighting and the inclusion of a large viewing window. Additionally, the viewing window also protects users from abrasion because of its internal replaceable acetate sheets.

This dry blast cleaning cabinet offers easy component handling using the turntable options. Like the Jetair range, the Fox 25 can be easily converted to pressure blast using a minipot (see Jetair information).

WHAT SORT OF EXTRACTION IS SUPPLIED AS STANDARD/DO I NEED FOR A JETAIR CABINET?

The Jetair blast cabinets are fitted as standard with twin cartridge integral dust extraction. Depending on whether the machine is a suction or pressure system and what media is being used we may recommend you upgrade to a separate extraction unit, perhaps with a media cyclone reclamator. Our sales team will be able to advise the best extraction for your application.

 

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF A PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER A SUCTION SYSTEM?

With a pressure blast system the media is stored in the pressure vessel rather than the hopper (suction system). When the foot pedal is depressed the vessel is pressurised and the media is forced up to the blast gun via a media mixture control valve and a heavy duty blast hose. Pressure blasting can increase speed by up to 4 times that of a standard suction system.
