The Aquablast range is designed to simultaneously degrease and blast many sizes of components. The water/media slurry is contained within the cabinet sump, delivery of the slurry to the manual blast nozzle is via a glandless polyurethane pump and associated hoses located inside the machine. Compressed air is added at the blast nozzle to accelerate the slurry and provide the cleaning effect. After contact with the component the slurry then drains back into the sump creating a re-circulating system. Fine broken down media and other contaminants are fed via an overflow to a sedimentation filter located at the rear of the cabinet. The process cleans by flow not by impact producing a 'soft' finish with the water acting as a lubricant which not only avoids media impregnation but also extends the life of the blast media.

Les machines Aquablast sont conçues pour des opérations simultanées de sablage et de dégraissage pour des pièces de différents tailles. Le réservoir de la cabine contient le mélange matières/eau ; ce mélange est envoyé jusque dans la base manuelle de sablage grâce à une pompe en polyuréthane et ses tuyaux situés à l'intérieur de la machine. De l'air comprimé est ajouté à la base pour accélérer le mélange air/eau/abrasif et pour lui fournir ainsi son effet de nettoyage. Après le contact du mélange avec la pièce à nettoyer, le mélange retombe dans le réservoir, et forme donc un système de recirculation. Les particules d'abrasif broyées, et autres contaminants sont emmenés sur un filtre par le trop plein situé à l'arrière de la cabine. Le procédé nettoie par un flux et non par impact permettant d'obtenir une finition satinée et douce. L'eau agit comme un lubrifiant et permet d'augmenter la durée de vie de l'abrasif. Un chauffage de 3 kW est disponible en option, qui permet ainsi de travailler avec un mélange chaud, pour enlever huiles et graisses lourdes. Une solution chaude ou tiède est plus efficace qu'une solution froide.

De Aquablast natstraalkasten zijn ontworpen voor het stralen en ontvetten van diverse onderdelen in één bewerking. De slurry van water en straalmiddel bevindt zicht in een reservoir onderin de straalkast en wordt door een speciaal ontworpen pakkingloze polyurethaan pomp via slangen naar de straalpijp gepompt. Bij de straalpijp wordt perslucht aan de slurry toegevoegd die het mengsel versneld en het zijn reinigende werking geeft. Na de impact op het werkstuk loopt de slurry terug in het pompreservoir voor hergebruik. Fijn gebroken straalmiddel en andere verontreinigingen worden via een overloop afgevoerd naar een bezinkbak met filter dat achter de straalkast is geplaatst. (optioneel) Er kan een 3 kW heater met geïntegreerde thermostaat worden geplaatst voor een snelle verwijdering van olie en vet van de werkstukken. Een warme c.q. hete oplossing van water en straalmiddel reinigt sneller dan koud water.

La gama Aquablast está diseñada para desengrasar y chorrear a la vez diferentes tamaños de piezas. La mezcla de abrasivo y agua se encuentra en un colector de la cabina enviando esta mezcla a la boquilla mediante una bomba glandular de poliuretano y las mangueras localizadas dentro de la cabina. El aire comprimido se añade a la boquilla para acelerar la mezcla y proporcionar el efecto de limpieza deseando. Después de entrar en contacto con la pieza la bomba drena de nuevo la mezcla creando un sistema de circulación continuo. El abrasivo deteriorado y y otros contaminantes selen fuera de la cabina por desbordamiento a un filtro de sedimentación colocado en la parte trasera de la cabina. El proceso de limpieza es por chorro de agua no por impacto produciendo un acabo muy fino al actuar el agua como lubricante lo que no sólo evita la impregnación de abrasivo, sino que además alarga la vida del mismo. La cabina puede llevar un calentador de 3Kw con termostato integrado como opción para piezas más complicadas o con más grasa, dado que las prestaciones con agua caliente aumentan más que con agua fría.

Die Aquablast Produktreihe ist zum gleichzeitigen Entfetten und Strahlen von Bauteilen vieler unterschiedlicher Größen konstriert. Das Wasser/Strahlmittel befindet sich im Vorratsbehälter der Strahlkabine und die Beförderung des Strahlmittels zur manuellen Strahldüse erfolgt über eine stopfbuchslose Polyurethanpumpe und zugehörige Schläuche, die sich innerhalb der Maschine befinden. Druckluft wird an der Strahldüse eingeleitet um das Strahlmittel zu beschleunigen und die erforderliche Reinigungswirkung zu erzielen. Nach Kontakt mit dem Bauteil läuft das Strahlmittel dann wieder zurück in den Vorratsbehälter, wodurch ein Umlaufsystem erzeugt wird. Feines zersetztes Medium und andere Schmutzstoffe werden über einen Überlauf zu einem Sedimentationsfilter auf der Rückseite der Strahlkabine geleitet. Der Prozess reinigt durch Strömung und nicht durch Impakt, was eine, weiche' Erscheinung der Oberfläche bewirkt, wobei das Wasser als Schmiermittel fungiert, das nicht nur eine Imprägnierung des Mediums verhindert, sondern auch die Lebensdauer des Strahlmittels verlängert. Eine Hochleistungsheizung mit 3 kW und einem integrierten Thermostaten ist als wahlweises Extra erhältlich und dient zum Entfernen einer starken Verschmutzung durch Öl und Schmiermittel, da eine heiße bzw. warme Lösung schneller wirkt als kaltes Wasser.

Aquablast-serien är avsedd för samtidig avfettning och blästring av komponenter i flera storlekar. Vatten/blästermedelsblandningen, som förvaras in en behållare i skåpet, förs till det manuella blästerskåpet via en polyuretanpump och tillhörande slangar inuti skåpet. Tryckluft tillförs blästermunstycket för att accelerera hastigheten på blandningen och ge reningseffekten. Efter kontakt med komponenterna rinner blandningen tillbaka till behållaren i ett cirkulationssystem. Fint nerbrutet blästermedel och andra förorenade partiklar mates via ett bräddavlopp till ett sedimenteringsfilter baktill i skåpet. Denna process rengör genom överspolning och inte genom anslag mot ytan och skapar därmed mjuk finish med vattnet som en tvättmedel, som inte bara undviker blästermedelsimpregnering utan också förlänger blästermedlets livslängd. En 3 kW extra kraftig värmare med integrerad termostat finns som extra tillbehör för borttagning av olja och fett, eftersom en het/varm lösning verkar fortare än kallt vatten.

Grupa kabin Aquablast zaprojektowana zostala w celu równoczesnego odtluszczania i oczyszczania pneumatycznego różnorodnych przedmiotów. Mieszanina wody i ścierniwa znajduje się w zbiorniku, z którego dostarczana jest do trzymanej w ręce glowicy roboczej przy pomocy bezdlawnicowej pompy i specjalnego węża ścierniwa, znajdującego się wewnątrz kabiny. Sprężone powietrza doprowadzane jest do dyszy ścierniwa w celu przyspieszenia ruchu mieszaniny i polepszenia efektu oczyszczania. Po kontakcie z oczyszczaną powierzchnią, mieszanina powraca do zbiornika, tworząc system recyrkulacji. La linea di macchine AQUABLAST è stata progettata per simultaneamente sgrassare e sabbiare particolari di differenti misure. La miscela acqua / abrasivo è contenuta nella tramoggia della cabina ed inviata tramite una pompa, posizionata internamente alla macchina, all'ugello di sabbiatura. L'aggiunta di aria compressa all'ugello aumenta la velocità della miscela acqua / abrasivo e provvede all'ottenimento dell'effetto di pulizia. Dopo il contatto con i particolari da trattare la miscela abrasiva cade nella tramoggia sottostante e rientra in circolo. L'abrasivo consumato e altre impurità vengono aspirate dal filtro posizionato dietro la cabina. Il processo di pulizia, ottenuto attraverso il flusso della miscela e non attraverso l'impatto produce una rugosità superficiale molto leggera con l'acqua che funge da lubrificante che non permette ai pezzi di impregnarsi di abrasivo ed al tempo stesso allunga la durata dell'abrasivo stesso. E'disponibile come optional una caldaia di 3 kW. completa di termostato per la rimozione pesante di olii e grassi dai particolari o per velocizzare l'operazione di sabbiatura attraverso acqua calda o tiepida.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF WETBLASTING OVER DRY BLASTING?

Wetblasting produces a finer finish than dry blasting and is ideal for the cleaning of more delicate components. The Aquablast machines use a water and abrasive slurry to simultaneously blast and degrease which prevents impregnation of media onto the component. 

One of the major advantages of wetblasting is that it is a dust free process.

IS THE AQUABLAST CABINET SUPPLIED AS A COMPLETE UNIT, WHAT ELSE DO I REQUIRE TO RUN IT?

Vixen’s Aquablast machines are supplied as a complete unit. You would need to source a suitable air compressor to run the machine.

DO I NEED THE MACHINE TO BE CONNECTED TO A WATER SUPPLY OR SITED NEAR A DRAIN?

The machine can be supplied with a closed loop rinse system where the water used for the windscreen wash and rinsing after blasting is simply recycled and filtered in a sedimentation tank sited at the rear of the machine. Periodically this sedimentation tank needs emptying (usually once per week) and refilling with clean water.

WHERE CAN I GET SPARE PARTS FOR THE CABINET?

Vixen can supply all the spare parts for their machines direct to the customer. Once you have purchased a machine from Vixen you will be assigned an internal aftersales contact who is available to give you advice on spares and consumables.

We also offer service contracts on all our machines ranging from twice yearly to monthly visits.
