Jet Air Automated - Abrasive Blast Cleaning Machinery

The Jetair Indexer is the ideal machine for blast cleaning or treating components which are too fragile or too awkward to tumble.  Parts are processed in such a way that they do not come into contact with any other parts or moving machinery.

Components are loaded and unloaded to and from the machine usually by a pneumatic pick and place unit (available as an optional extra) situated at the front of the machine in easy reach of the entry and exit openings.  The Indexer comprises a circular web carrying independently rotating heads (usually fitted with twelve) to which a jig or tool holder attaches.

As each station indexes around the machine it rotates 360 degrees in front of a series of adjustable blast guns.  The stations are individually designed to hold the components in exactly the right positions whilst they are being blasted to ensure that the correct coverage is achieved each time.  The Jetair Indexer can be operated with a wide range of blast media.

HOW ARE PARTS LOADED AND UNLOADED FROM THE MACHINE?

Usually parts are loaded and unloaded by a pneumatic pick and place unit situated at the front of the machine. However Vixen will advise on the best method to suit your particular application.

HOW MANY COMPONENTS CAN BE LOADED INTO THE MACHINE AT ANY ONE TIME?

Again this depends on individual requirements, typically the circular web carries twelve independently rotating heads to which a jig or tool holder attaches.

WHAT IS THE MOST SUITABLE BLAST MEDIA FOR MY APPLICATION?

Vixen have a fully trained aftersales department who can advise on the most suitable media for your application. We supply a wide range of media and have free sample cases which we can send to you so that you can see for yourself the different grades of media available to suit your application.

WHERE CAN I GET SPARE PARTS FOR THE CABINET?

Vixen can supply all the spare parts for their machines direct to the customer. Once you have purchased a machine from Vixen you will be assigned an internal aftersales contact who is available to give you advice on spares and consumables.

We also offer service contracts on all our machines ranging from twice yearly to monthly visits.

THE INDEXING SYSTEM DOES NOT SEEM THE BEST METHOD FOR MY APPLICATION, CAN YOU ADVISE ME?
