Vixen are proud to be the UK distributors of Saint-Gobain’s Abrasive Media. ZirPro’s Zirblast® ceramic beads are used as blasting media for blast cleaning and surface preparation applications. 

Zirblast® ceramic beads are easy to handle in all categories of air or wet pressure blasting equipment including pneumatic blasting rooms. They also are well suited for working in most kinds of wheel turbine blasting machines. ZirPro engineers are available to assist customers in setting up blasting processes to get the full benefits of Zirblast® ceramic beads in surface treatment.

ZirBlast®

Saint-Gobain Ceramic media offers a smooth, satin finish, reduces maintenance costs and has a longer media life compared to alternatives.

ZirBlast® is a low abrasion media, meaning there is minimal distortion to the part. Important components such as dies and moulds will last up to 20% longer due to the lack of wear.

Zirblast® is also nonmagnetic and offers no ferrous contamination, in addition there is very low dust emission and waste material. In dry application, Zirblast® can last up to 10x longer than glass bead and up to 30x longer in one of our Aquablast machines.
