Vixen’s special guest at Automechanika!

Vixen's ultimate wheel repair package makes headlines at Automechanika Birmingham!

Visitors from across the globe stopped by the stand to witness the package in action. They were amazed at how quick the lathe machines the wheel and how the wheels come up like new in the Aqua Wheelblaster.

The grease junkie himself Edd China, also visited Vixen’s stand at Automechanika Birmingham.

Edd China is famously known for his presenting and mechanical skills on Wheeler Dealers. So much so, he often used one of our wet blasting machines, the Aquablast 915 to blast clean a range of automotive parts.

Vixen showcase

He was impressed to see Vixen’s Aqua Wheelblaster on the stand which has been designed exclusively to clean and prepare alloy wheels.

The Vixen Vertical Wheel Lathe proved very popular with its visitors. This compact machine is the easiest lathe in the market with its main features of the Windows operating system and a cast iron bed for rigidity.  Vixen also took along the Vertical Wheel Lathe which was originally showcased at last year’s Automechanika show.

The Panasonic laser probe technology scans wheels in under 30 seconds to produce a map of the wheel. This mapping is very quick and accurate and then the lathe machines the surface of the wheel to reproduce the diamond cut finish.

Across the three days, the sales engineers were on hand to offer demos on the two machines with visitors highlighting how quick and easy the machines are to use.

Vixen is booked up for Automechanika Birmingham in 2021. The next trade show will be in October at TASC in Dusseldorf. More details to follow.
