THE JETAIR AIRLESS RANGE IS AN AUTOMATIC AIRLESS RANGE OF DRY BLASTING CLEANING MACHINES DESIGNED TO OPERATE FROM A SINGLE OR THREE-PHASE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY. THE FOUR IMPELLOR BLADES REVOLVING AT 2800RPM DIRECT THE MEDIA UPWARDS AT A HIGH VELOCITY THROUGH THE HEAVY-DUTY BARREL, WITH CLEANING COMPONENTS TUMBLING INSIDE. DUST AND DEBRIS ARE REMOVED AND COLLECTED THROUGHOUT THE BLAST CYCLE, WITH 16 AIR CHANGES PER MINUTE ENSURING CLEAN, DUST-FREE COMPONENTS.

Dry blasting cleaning machines from the Jetblast Airless range are free-standing, requiring no special foundations and extremely compact for today's growing market. They are ideally suited to cleaning components which can be tumble-blasted using steel shot to remove rust, scale and paint removal. A great example is automotive components, particularly in the reconditioning of brake shoes and turbo chargers. The 220 model is fitted with a thermal cut out device and single or three phase electricity supply can be included.

WHAT SORT OF EXTRACTION IS SUPPLIED AS STANDARD/DO I NEED FOR A JETAIR CABINET?

The Jetair blast cabinets are fitted as standard with twin cartridge integral dust extraction. Depending on whether the machine is a suction or pressure system and what media is being used we may recommend you upgrade to a separate extraction unit, perhaps with a media cyclone reclamator. Our sales team will be able to advise the best extraction for your application.

 

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF A PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER A SUCTION SYSTEM?

With a pressure blast system the media is stored in the pressure vessel rather than the hopper (suction system). When the foot pedal is depressed the vessel is pressurised and the media is forced up to the blast gun via a media mixture control valve and a heavy duty blast hose. Pressure blasting can increase speed by up to 4 times that of a standard suction system.
